The MTS 250 is heading for the last starting day.
Yesterday, 123 players registered at the Montesino (27 from the phase 1 tournaments) and purchased 35 re-entries. At the CCC Wien Simmering, 81 poker fans were there for the start (30 from the phase 1 tournaments) and purchased 11 re-entries. 34 poker fans (two from the phase 1 tournaments) then still tackled the Turbo Heat at the Montesino.
This means that € 135,476 are now in the prize pool which is guaranteed with € 250,000. The event is recording 1,958 Phase 1 entries and 420 day 1 entries up to now.
29 players could qualify yesterday for day 2 on Sunday at the Montesino. The day also brought a new chip leader. Pedro Ventura stormed to the top with 2,930,000 chips and replaced Oswin Ziegelbecker with 2,705,000. Radovan Krmela is on place three with 2,195,000 chips.
Today, poker fans have the last chance to take part in the tournament. The buy-in is € 250, for this, € 250,000 is guaranteed. There are starting possibilities at 3 pm at the Montesino, at 5 pm at the CCC Wien Simmering and then again a Last Chance Turbo Heat at 9 pm at the Montesino.
