For 15 days, the Concord Masters has been the predominant tournament event in Austria and Europe. Yesterday, the decision was made about the winner in 2019. Marek Krchnar celebrated a start-finish victory.
20 players started on the last day to select the winner of the Concord Masters 2019. The final table had already been reached at 6:30 pm, after that it really went to the bone.
The last three players in the tournament, Marek Krchnar, Allan Kelleher and Brendan Coone agreed on a deal, the trophy was then played for. Krchnar bagged the highest amount with € 85,000. Kelleher took € 65,000 and Coone was happy with € 55,130.
The chip leader Marek Krchnar played an effortless final day and eliminated opponent after opponent. Only in the fight for the trophy of the Concord Masters 2019, the later runner-up Allan Kelleher came very close to him.
Marek Krchnar and Allan Kelleher met each other in the heads-up. Krchnar won the decisive hand and was declared the winner of the Concord Masters 2019. The top pair with 10-8, which had already hit Krchnar in the deciding hand on the flop, held against Kelleher's 9-3 on a board of 10-6-7-2-3 and the Slovak thereby celebrated a big victory at the CCC Wien Simmering.
He had previously led the field into the last day as chip leader, Kelleher was only on position 207 of the counts with a stack of 520,000 chips and now finished the Concord Masters as runner-up.
