Twelve of them even several times. For this, they received a bonus of € 4,000. This time, place 1 of the Concord Million was remunerated with € 205,200.
Dynamically through the day
The pace increased significantly right from the start. Christoph Ang, Martin Müller, Julian Herold and Josef Bartalos dropped out within less than an hour. The final table bubble lasted all the longer. Only after more than an hour of playing time, the tournament was over for Manuel Graf.
At the final table, Beatrix Wolfsberger, the last lady in the tournament, dropped out in place 10. Robin Hegele, Alex Eder and Didier Rabl dropped out until the start of the dinner break.
Deal of the last 4
Andreas Schreiner took place six after the break, the superior chip leader at the beginning of the day, Dennis Brutscher, place 5. This cleared the way for a deal. The last four players in the tournament agreed on a deal.
Alexander Oswald secured the largest share with € 141,600, Johannes Waßmuth bagged € 116,200, Filip Hanusek was happy about € 115,100 and Josef Gulas won € 110,300. € 10,000 remained in the pot. This amount was played for just as the cup.
The pace did not diminish after the successful negotiations. Josef Gulas finished fourth and Alexander Oswald third. Johannes Waßmuth and Filip Hanusek competed in the heads-up.
30 minutes heads-up
Waßmuth won the all-deciding hand. On the turn, all chips went into the middle. Waßmuth showed two pairs with 9-4, Hanusek showed a flush draw with 8-6. On the turn Hanusek hit his flush, but on the river the two pairs of Waßmuth turned into a full house. Thus, the political science student from Hannover won the Concord Million 2019 and a total prize money of € 126,200.
A memorable and exciting Concord Million 2019 thus ended on Monday evening, which will remain in the memory of the participants for a long time to come.
