Yesterday, the Concord Million 2019 went into the semifinal with respect to the winners. At the CCC Wien Simmering, day 2 of the decision was on the programme.
Many prominent players are out
83 players competed for the win and the prize money of € 205,200 for the winner. 15 of them made it through the day. But neither Konstantinos Nanos, who had led the field into day 2, nor the long-time chip leader of the starting days Silviu Nemes, made it to day 3. Evangelos Bechrakis also dropped out, as well as Andreas Krause and Alexander Moser.
Brutscher surpassed them all
It was meant to be the day of Dennis Brutscher. He had started at the CCC Bregenz and won a solid lead yesterday with 49,100,000 chips. Michael Strasser is in position two of the counts with 24,750,000, ahead of Marius Campan with 23,675,000.
Julian Herold is in place seven with 17,500,000, Beatrix Wolfsberger, as the last lady in the tournament, with 7,450,000 in place 14.
The decision is close
The third and last final day will start today at 2 pm at the CCC Wien Simmering. 15 participants are still taking part. The blinds start with 300k/600k and a BB Ante of 600k, the levels last 60 minutes. At the final table, the level time will then increase to 60 minutes, in the heads-up it will be 30 minutes. All remaining players are ensured a prize money of at least € 8,000.
