On Sunday, day 2 of the partypoker Grand Prix took place at the Montesino and at the CCC Wien Simmering. Beforehand, many poker fans still took the opportunity to qualify at the Hyperturbo Head in both casinos.
The second partypoker Grand Prix in Austria can thereby show an impressive success record. 5,230 entries have created a prize pool of € 523,000, the guaranteed sum of € 500,000 could thereby be surpassed.
14 levels were on the programme. 41 participants could qualify for the grand final on Monday at the Montesino. 24 of them are coming from the Montesino, eight had qualified via partypoker, and nine players are coming from the Concord Card Casinos.
Manuel Blaschke, who was the solid chip leader after the starting days, dropped out yesterday and was in place 54 for € 750. Vladimir Burstein is the new chip leader with 19,925,000 chips, in front of Rolando Lombardi with 11,750,000 and Rene Wolech with 10,875,000 chips.
Further regulars can be found in the chip counts with Pavel Chalupka in place 20, Anthony Ghamrawi in place 24 and Wolfgang Foglar in place 40 of the counts.
The final will start at 1 pm at the Montesino, the blinds start at 125k/250k. The entire action will be broadcast from 1:30 pm in the live stream with Hole Cards. Sasa Lalos and Manfred Bauer will comment the final in German, the English stream will be commented by Andre Bogdanov and Natalia Breviglieri.
